History

The beginning
Ross Offshore AS was established in 1997 by Vidar Stener Ingebretsen and Tor Aanderud Larsen, to provide consultancy services within drilling, completion and subsea. 

In less than 10 years the company has grown to more than 100 consultants delivering a wide range of services to the O&G industry and nine employees working at the company's administration headquarters in Sandefjord and field office in Bergen.

New business areas
In 2007 a new business area was established within Drilling & Well Management, followed by Field Development in 2008.  These new business areas offer specialist services to operators looking to buy-in total well delivery management services rather than use in-house sub-surface and drilling teams.

In 2008, Ross Offshore AS joined the newly established Subsea Technology Group. The group is a substantial supplier of subsea, drilling, well intervention and field life cycle services and products to the upstream oil and gas industry.
